I use OmniFocus<\/a> to keep me on task and try and keep me from letting things get too far out of whack. There is a repeating task to do a blog post every five days. Needless to say, that task has been uncompleted more often than not recently.<\/p>\n

The main reason is my general resistance to do small “throw away” posts just to check it off. If I’m going to do a post, I want to spend the effort in doing it. As a result, I will not make the effort as I can’t spend the time that I feel I should spend.<\/p>\n

As you’ve likely noticed, I have a plug-in that turns a day’s worth of Twitter<\/a> “tweets” into a post. That, too, has rules as I try not to do tweets unless I plan to do a day’s worth as I don’t want a post with only one or two entries in it.<\/p>\n

Of course, there are no rules with blogging. Nobody is really going to hold it against me if I don’t blog on a regular schedule. Will you?<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
