{"id":108,"date":"2007-02-05T20:53:24","date_gmt":"2007-02-06T04:53:24","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/mike.peay.us\/blog\/?p=108"},"modified":"2007-02-05T20:53:37","modified_gmt":"2007-02-06T04:53:37","slug":"now-this-is-a-cruise","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mike.peay.us\/blog\/archives\/108","title":{"rendered":"Now THIS is a cruise!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>We have been making vacation plans for the family this summer and have decided to take a seven day cruise to Alaska late this June.<\/p>\n<p>While watching a promotional DVD provided by our agent, we saw that <a href=\"http:\/\/www.princess.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Princess Cruises<\/a> offers one that Becky and I have thought would be one worth investigating: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.princess.com\/pb\/itineraryDetails.do?voyageCode=K802&amp;tourCode=&amp;date=&amp;noOfPax=2&amp;resType=C&amp;definition_name=\" target=\"_blank\">the World Cruise<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s right, you too, can get on the boat in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida and cruise for 102 days visiting 42 ports of call before you finally disembark in Southampton, England. Sure, it&#8217;s about $25k per person but when you do the math, it&#8217;s not a bad deal.<\/p>\n<p>We figure it would take about 5-6 years to save up for that.
